JOHANNESBURG – ANC Secretary General Fikile Mbalula says it will be important to get an understanding of what led to the party’s poor performance in KwaZulu-Natal during the May general elections.
Mbalula told eNCA the matter will be discussed at the party’s next NEC meeting.

He added that the party is faced with the massive task of rebuilding support in areas where it lost its majority, especially before the upcoming local government elections.
“We have allocated a full three days for the discussion on that matter of the elections,” he said.
